Resync Behavior after reboot

Post by Pingjockey »

Just recently deployed a T6-423 and during the deployment I have had it connected to my monitor. I have a single Traid storage pool with a single volume and initial sync has completed. One of the things I have noticed is that during a reboot, the NAS puts the drives asleep which I thought was a weird and I know it is a drive sleep command as it shows up on the console. Well, the last time the NAS rebooted it caused the storage pool to be flagged as dirty and kicked off a sync job. I guess my question is, are the sleep commands expected?

Have you set up hibernation settings or automatic tasks?
There is no "synchronization" with a single disk TRAID, because it's one disk. So you're talking about your other hard disks?
What makes you think that? Can you photograph the phenomenon?
