Adding DAS to NAS Storage Pool

Post by Jblackwe3038 »

Is it possible to add a DAS to a NAS in a single storage pool to increase drive space?

I can set it up as a second storage pool but I wanted to keep it as a single storage pool so I don't have to update all of my applications to look in two network drives instead of a single one.

Yes, it's ok,the storage pool created by DAS can only be used as a single storage pool.

Due to significant performance differences, it is strongly recommended not to add the hard drive in the USB external device to the current storage pool. Otherwise, it may cause instability of the storage pool and even data loss.
