Shared folder mapped to Vol 2 not seen by network devices
Hi - I just created a new shared folder mapped to Vol 2 in my F4-423 NAS, but the folder can't be seen by other devices in my network. My other shared folers are connected just fine, and I checked the permissions were all similar. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Re: Shared folder mapped to Vol 2 not seen by network devices
This is similar to one of the issues we have recently learned about that is related to SMB, and we are currently working on fixing it.
You can temporarily restart PC/MAC to display the newly created shared folder on the network disk.

Re: Shared folder mapped to Vol 2 not seen by network devices
Hi. I've restarted both the client devices and the NAS and I still can't connect to the shared folder for Vol 2. All other folders are fine though. You mentioned a fix is in the works - do you know when and how will it be deployed? Will it be added to TOS6? Should I just reset to factory defaults for now? Thank you.

What is the specific version number of your TOS?

We suggest that you delete the SMB credentials on PC/MAC and map the network disk again to update the configuration
Of course, you can also try your ideas.
If you still cannot solve the problem, please contact technical support email or customer service on the official website homepage to schedule a remote troubleshooting.
