You can first shut down the device, format the SSD, and then put it into the device to create Hyper Cache.

Thank you, this helped. My ssd are now detected BUT

I just reassembled and rebooted after formatting the ssd again.
I tried to create a hyper cache but after the synchronization process nothing new appears and the window shows the option to create hyper cache again.

Any idea to solve? Maybe should i try different format method? I tried Exfat and APFS but nothing helped. THANK YOU

all attempts to create hyper cache continue to fail.
I tried formatting NVMe ssd in different file systems, ExFat, EXT4, BTRFS.
The disks are detected but after the creation wizard nothing is created and the window shows the starting situation for creating hyper cache.

T12- 450, TOS 5.1
12x 6TB HDD in RAID 6
2x NVMe ssd 1TB (Also tried RAID 1 and RAID 0)

here a link to view the log report generated

Thanks

This morning I received remote assistance from a Terramaster engineer.
After 20 minuts coding on terminal, killing process and flashing ssd, the Hyper cache on my nas is working.
The reason why before there were RAID errors and failing attemps was due the many hidden system process of the NAS that needs to be switched off in order to create an Hyper cache.
Hope Terramaster will fix this soon in the next update and can create something more user friendly :)

Hope this post can help many others.
Cheers ;)

Hello everyone. I think I have a similar situation. I updated TOS5 to TOS6 and lost my hyper cache. I cannot create a hyper cache in TOS6. I did not find the cause of the error.
All screenshots are below.

Can I solve the problem or wait for the update of the system?
Thanks and have a nice day.

if I am not wrong you are running a beta version of TOS6.
Waiting for the official release maybe is a wise choice!

From my last experience I can say:
Try to shut down all the app and process and then try again to create Hyper cache.
If not, ask for a remote assistance on team viewer. Terramaster engineers was super fast and efficient in my case.

Cheers

Did you read and abide by the caveat for Hypercache during update to TOS6?
F5-221 5.1.123, 8GB System Partition on 3 x 4TB Traid; 3TB EXT4
F2-221 TOS6 (Beta), 8GB System Partition on 2 x 6TB in Traid. (Latest Update 11/04/24)
