no 10gbe after 5.1.67 update F5-422

I was on TOS 4 and decided to wipe everything and update to TOS 5.1.67. I'm aware of the issue with the 2gig v 8 gig system partition so moved the data off and deleted the RAID, after I updated to 5.0.176 I recreated the RAID ( 4 x 8TB BRFS). System settings showed the correct 8gig home folder size.

Now, I did the 5.1.67 update and it updated fine, rebooted then I had no access, gave it 20 mins then turned it off. Move the ethernet to one of the 1gig connections, now I can find the NAS, if I put it in the 10gbe it can't be found.

Checked and there are no link lights coming up, nothing changed on my network it was connect that way half an hour ago and working.

Check in network settings and the 10gbe port is gone.. nothing there just the 2 x 1gig connections and PPPoE.

I edit video and bought this NAS for the 10gbe, its basically useless to me without it.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do? I tried reapplying the update while plugged into one of the 1Gig ports and no change, won't let me downgrade to a previous TOS 5 version unless I do a whole reset. Im stuck.

so further to this, reinstalled the whole system, went back to 5.0.176, upgraded to 5.1.67, exactly the same issue the 10gbe port disappears in network interfaces.. also does it on 5.1.40.

Has anyone with a F5-422 been able to update to 5.1.67 and keep their 10gbe connection?

Before you go round in circles again, consider updating beyond 5.1.67. Later updates may fix the issue you are having. (May even detail it in the release notes - I don't know) Latest is 5.1.123

5.1.67 is the latest... if I just do an automatic update thats the version..

I don't think you can rely on the automatic update for TOS5.1. There were reasons that it was not deployed - to prevent inadvertent updates on incompatible systems. Take a look at the 'Updates' pages on this forum. Presuming you have a device to which you can download the update package, you can proceed from there.
