Considering buying a D5-300 with a few questions:

RAID 5 and Cross-Platform Compatibility: I plan to set up the D5-300 in RAID 5 using TerraMaster software on Windows. Will it work seamlessly when connected to my QNAP NAS (non-Windows platform)? Can I easily switch it between systems without reformatting?
Power Outage Protection: I'll use a UPS for continuous power, but what happens if there's a power cut while I'm away? Does the D5-300 have any built-in protection to prevent damage, or should I only use it when I can manually shut it down before the UPS runs out?

1. Create a RAID5 mode on Windows, which can be used with QNAP NAS.
2. If the illegal power failure will not affect the equipment, but the worry is that the hard disk does not have power failure protection measures, you can use the UPS power supply to avoid the problem of illegal power failure.
