Hi and thanks for the news. Where is the required TOS 5.1.123 to be found. I am at 5.1.79 with my F5-221 and there is no newer version when I check for updates, nor when I manually check for new versions at https://support.terra-master.com/downlo ... uct=F5-221 - where not even the version I have is not listed. Thanks again!

@usersky

What size is your system partition?

If it's 2 GB, that's the reason the device isn't going to acknowledge newer releases as it doesn't meet the 8 GB system partition requirement; this thread explains what is required to fix that: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=4912

If it's 8 GB, then you'll need to manually update accordingly, accessing those update(s) via viewforum.php?f=28

You still haven't carefully read the release notes, the system must be updated to 5.1.123, and the app center will automatically push Terra Photos2.0.

My system partition is 8GB. In the case the update should be performed manually it should be so nice when checking for updates to have a message telling that update to version.... is available at address... but it must be applied manually. As it is now, checking for updates is not reliable, you think you are at current version but somewhere in a forum there is newer info. Please consider displaying such a message when an update is availabe but should be manually installed.

Usually, once Terra-Master has deemed an update for stable general/production release, the NAS will have a message that one is available & the same update will also be available on the download page for the NAS (in your case, F5-221); due to the frequency of point releases, often many releases don't make it to that step.

However, the system partition requirement is more than likely the culprit as to why most units aren't getting update messages, to prevent issues for those with older 2 GB partition.

It would be helpful for there to be options like participating in early releases (and agreeing to a waiver of support if that's necessary for those builds) as well as maybe just a link to the TOS update notice sub-forum for people to quickly see if there's something newer than what the notification may be offering (as you're alluding).

Hello, usually if your NAS is constantly on standby, there may be situations where you cannot obtain server updates. You can try switching the system language or restarting the NAS, and then search for the Terra Photo2.0 application in the application center.
