TOS is reporting very high CPU usage. Looking at this system monitor processes I could see that PHP-FRM was the main culprit. Further investigation via SSH showed this:

I am not using any applications on my NAS yet which is a F5-221 running TOS 4.1.18_2001061420.

Any ideas anybody?

I have rebooted the NAS and CPU usage has gone right down to about 5%. Still curious to know what was going on…

If it happens again, please keep us noted.

I have been seeing this when trying to view my SMB log in TOS 4.1.18-2001061420 on my F5-422

If my SMB log is large it will take a lot of time before it is displayed in TOS, and one CPU core will be at 100% for php-fpm until is finally displays. If i leave the log window and come back to try to view the SMB log before the first time has finished, another core will be at 100%. So, if i do it 4 times i will have all 4 cores at 100% for php-fpm, until the processes finish retrieving the logs, which can vary greatly depending on how big the log is.

TOS is reporting very high CPU usage.
Looking at this system monitor processes I can see that the process is called "minimediad".
have googled and found one ref to this on a french forum. this is on the latest
TOS 4.1.21 end of april '20 and the previous.
model f4-220
please advise

Hi, the process " minimediad " is of DLNA Media server. The CPU will be relatively high when this app is in use.
