Problem analysis
Apple recently released the macOS Sonoma 14.X system, and our laboratory has found that the RAID Manager of D5-300 is not compatible with the macOS Sonoma 14.X system through verification and testing.

Solution

We are trying to develop a new version of the RAID Manager management software to solve this problem. Before that, you can use the following methods to solve the problem:

1.Connect D5-300 to a Windows computer or a Mac computer with macOS version before Sonoma 14.X.
2.Install the RAID Manager management software on a Windows computer or an old version of macOS on a Mac computer.
3.Use the RAID Manager management software to create the RAID mode you need.
4.Connect D5-300 back to your Sonoma 14.X Mac computer.
5.Finally, you can format the RAID partition on the Sonoma 14.X Mac computer and start using it.

Note: For D5-300 products, the role of RAID Manager management software is to create and modify RAID modes. If you do not need to create or modify the RAID again, the D5-300 product can be used on the Sonoma 14.X Mac computer.

From your proposed work arounds, it implies that the Mac recognises the Raid, however my M3 MacBook Pro does not recognise the raid at all.

I'd like to second this. For me, my raided drives are not recognized as well.

Before the new version of RAID Manager is released, please follow the solutions we provided above to try and use it.

I installed the 2 disk RAID1 set with an old version of MacOS, and it worked, so I started to use it and push lot of data into the RAID volume. Now, basically between the step 3 and 4 of your workaround procedure I put lot of data into the disk and then step 5 does not make any sense to me, I do not want to format the disk.
When will the new version of the RAID manager be released?
Thanks
