So this has nothing to do with the current update, under which you posted?
Well, current update still have this bugs for my model, and they are not fixed, so presume it's has something. But I got your point, wrong topic, and I must report this to the devs directly.
Wiped partitions and reinstalled Tos 5.1.79. Now overview shows 1.42 / 7.41 system partiton size ?? Updated from TOS5.1.79 to TOS 5.1.103 Which seemed to install without issue, but on restart system would not start up, just sat with all hard drive lights red and green power light all day. after various power cycles it powered up and I could log into TOS, But now all Hards drive LEDs are permanantly Red ?? system appears to function as normal I can acces my files and shares.
I have just done a complete wipe of the HDDs and a fresh installation of 5.1.103 to get the 8 gig needed for further updates on one of my machines however it's now showing a storage pool of TRAID (which I didn't create) but I cannot create a volume any ideas? I know my other machine spent about 12 hours synchronising, but I had a message confirming this, but time I have nothing, and it's been over 12 hours?
A similar situation known from other feedbacks is that a storage pool (RAID) may not have successfully created a PV for unknown reason.
But the specific situation still needs to be confirmed, or if you do not want the TRAID storage pool, you can delete and recreate the storage pool. Manually recreating it should also solve this problem.

Think I have sorted it, I do want TRAID but the pool that seemed to be already created would not allow me to create a new volume so had to start again and delete and recreate, all seems OK now.
