TRAID vs Raid Configuration

Hi there,
I'm new to TerraMaster NAS (I have two QNAP) and I bought an F2-423 with two 8TB HDD.
Before install it I looking for the best storage solution.
I read a lot about the TRAID and I would like to have your opinion about the best choice between TRAID and RAID 1 for this scenario:
- Multimedia NAS, to share video through SMB or Plex Server.
- Sync some valuable file from another NAS.
I also added a 500GB NVMe for the hyper cache.
What about the performances of TRAID vs RAID?
Could be a good choice?
