TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
Is a bit difficult to find the buttons for Log out, Restart and Shut Down (They are in start window). Having a text under these buttons will be more intuitive.
Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
'Hovering' the cursor shows what they are, but that seems to be the way with "modern" systems Having them duplicated on the desktop might be user friendly. It would be interesting to know which devices were "designed for" and which "tested on" prior to release. A large screen tv might be ok but a small hand held possibly not.

Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
Yes "hovering" the cursor show the description indeed, but as my personal experince on the usage, it should have the description directly visible.
Something that Windows 11 still has it... .
This is only my feeling...

Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
Hmmm.
Just realised that if you expand something like 'Control Panel' to max size, the banner with the buttons disappears anyway. And you can't see the buttons on rhs either.

Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
I just want to let you know that the update to version 6.0.124 was successful. I did it with remote access, everything went fine.
I would like to note that when the update started, there was no feedback (pop-up), but the NAS suddenly restarted. Something to indicate that the update is in progress would be nice.

Re: TOS 6 Insider Preview Program
Update from 6.0.108 to 6.0.124 went fine.
The auto reboot after upgrade is usefull, but will be good to have a note in the Notes section that after the upgrade process the NAS will reboot itself.
