I don't know about your device but I believe the answer is "obviously, not". I don't think any of the devices have a "hard reset button" or it would be mentioned in the instructions.

As far as your update issues, what was the initial version of TOS installed? (and what is your OS partition size?) Can you access the CLI via ssh/putty/etc?

You might consider re-installing 5.1.67 (I'm not upgrading to 5.1.79 as it seems to have (re-)introduced some issues.)

In this thread you posted you were updating FROM 5.1.67. In another thread you posted that you had updated TO 5.1.37. Sorry, but I cannot see, anywhere, what was the original installation version. (nor should I really need to go searching for it.) Likewise I don't think you posted the OS partition size (which may depend on the original installation version).

To revert to 5.1.67 you will probably need the (self named).ins file from the TM support web site Support > Downloads > [choose your model] > [as appropriate] and run "custom install" on a re-booted nas (I paraphrase, read the instructions). BUT, don't if your OS partition is not of the correct size. [Hence the questions.]

In June you posted:
I updated yesterday to 5.1.37 to get the speed enhancements and it sure does have alot more speed, however I have a 20tb usb for my secondary backup and it had a couple issues and I decided to reformat and use usb copy and start fresh, how after I reformat from within the device it says I have 28kb ...
I know what you posted, shame you don't remember. Being a jerk won't get you much help from other users.

understand your device is stuck in "Loading..." after the update. Here are some suggestions to try:

Power cycle: Turn off your device, wait a minute, then turn it back on. See if it boots normally after a fresh start.

Hard reset: Check your device's manual for instructions on performing a hard reset. This will revert it to factory settings, so backup important data first.

Check cables: Ensure all cables connected to your device are secure and undamaged. Try replacing the Ethernet cable if possible.

Contact manufacturer: If the above doesn't help, reach out to your device's manufacturer for specific troubleshooting steps and support. They can also potentially access logs or diagnostics to pinpoint the issue.

Alternative access: Since the TNAS PC app shows the device, try accessing it through the app instead of the web interface. If successful, see if the app offers firmware rollback options or diagnostics tools.

Remember, I'm not an expert on your specific device, so these are general troubleshooting tips. Always refer to the user manual or manufacturer's advice for specific instructions and support.

I hope it helps!
