TOS and Application on the same SSD

I have F4-223 4Bay NAS. I have installed TOS5.x on one SSD drive. But it seems TOS uses it whole drive.
Is there possibility that TOS will install only one partition of the 1st SSD drive and let's the second partition I can use to istall applications?

Thank you! Sorry for the awkward English in the question.
If I understood manuals correctly then TOS applications will be installed on RAID pool and cannot be installed on my 1st SSD disk with TOS system.
Is this right?
My goal is to have possibility of easy backup TOS, its configuration and applications.
If I will install 2nd SSD disk and use it for Hyper Cache purposes then entire SSD will be used for caching or it can has more volumes for other storage like TOS applications?

The entire SSD will only have one purpose. You can consider adding a second NVNe SSD as the installation path for the application.
