Changes in a container configuration do not take effect

Post by ElPabloMaximo »

I stopped the container, remove the mount using the docker manager, then start the container. Using docker exec I can connect to the container and browse the file structure and see that the folders are present and mounted even though they were removed in the container config. It just seems that any changes made to the container using Docker Manager after deployment never take effect.

Using Docker Manager,

If I create a container and then change something, for example a volume mount mapping, that change is not actually applied to the container when it is started. I verified it is changed within the gui and the hostconfig.json file within the container directory. The volume mapping appears to be correct and the permissions have not changed.

The only way around this bug is to delete the container and re-create it. It's like editing a container properties after creation just does not work.
