F2-221 - Cannot rebuild raid with same sized disk.

Hello. I have a F2-211 with 2 8TB NAS drives installed. On OS 5.1.24. The two disks were configured in a RAID 1

I recently had a drive failure, and the RAID was degraded. I purchased an identical sized disk from the same manufacturer (Seagate Ironwolf).

HDD1 is the good drive which has the RAID and data on it.
HDD2 was the drive that failed, and now has a new 8TB Seagate Ironwolf drive installed.

I know the process for repairing the RAID is to go to the Storage Pool and use the "Edit" button shown above the RAID listing on the right, however it is greyed out.

I am aware that you must have a replacement disk equal to or greater in size than the operating RAID disk in order to add it to the configuration, and by all accounts, this replacement disk IS the same size.

What am I doing wrong or what is the issue? Screenshots below:

Here is the Storage Pool as shown in my console

Here is the size comparison.

The NAS sees the disk and doesn't indicate any sort of problem

Update your system to 5.1.67 if you have an 8GB system partition.

I don't. It shipped with an older OS and therefore has the >2gb OS partition.

Also, that would require me doing a full wipe and rebuild of the entire NAS and it's data, something I am wanting to avoid by staying on .24 OS.

Is there no other possible solution?

I notice your drives have different model nos. Maybe there is some subtle difference between them.
