UPS - poweroff

I want to be able to get the TNAS (F4-210) 4.2.21 to poweroff (note - not enter standby or safe mode).
This should be a configurable behaviour but it is not.
Please describe to command the TNAS uses to enter standby or safe mode.
I want to be able to modify my configuration files to change this to /sbin/poweroff
Is it as simple as modifying /etc/not/upsmon.conf and adding the SHUTDOWN to point to /sbin/poweroff in the file and restarting TNAS?
