Hi all,
on F2-422 I updated from TOS4 to TOS5 - to version 5.1.67 at last, anche backup system i used previously without issues (GoodSync) to backup data from PC to NAS, now gets errors if it has to transfer files that start with a "." (specifically some .jpg files).
Any way to workaround this problem?
Thx a lot

Hi,
May I ask how you specifically transfer data from PC to NAS?
Also, have you ever understood that a system partition with only 2GB from TOS4 is not sufficient to use the newer TOS5 version properly?

Re: TOS 5.1.67 - Unable to sync dot files via SMB
As I said, I transfer from PC to NAS via SMB using GoodSync pc tool, that keeps NAS folders mirrored as PC ones by monitoring them.
About system partition, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. How do I check if system partition is big enough?
The hard disk where system is stored is a 3tb WD Red.

Re: TOS 5.1.67 - Unable to sync dot files via SMB
EDIT: ok, I was able to check the system partition and I see it's 2gb.
I've read in TOS update notice thread that system in such conditions sould refuse to update. In my case, instead, it updated flawlessly, so I actually have a TOS 5.1.67 on a 2gb system partition. Any way to fix this problem, maybe avoiding to lose all data on the disk and/or without removing the hard disk physically?
Thx a lot for support.

Re: TOS 5.1.67 - Unable to sync dot files via SMB
If your system partition is a 2G partition, we recommend that you:
1. Format the hard drive after backing up data
2. Reinstall 5.1.67

Re: TOS 5.1.67 - Unable to sync dot files via SMB
Formatting and reinstalling would automatically generate a system partition of the proper size?
To format the disk do I necessarily need to remove the disk or can I do it from TOS itself?
Thx a lot in advance

After you format your disk and then reinstall your system, your system partition is 8GB.
About how to format your disk. You can refer to this link below:
