D5 300C RAID 1 how to read single disk (1 or 2)

My Terramaster has lost disks 1 & 2 (RAID 1). It has happaned few times before and it has recovered, but now they remain silent. Is it possible to read these disks as separate disks either with Terramaster or an external disk bay? I am planning to switch from RAID 1 to single disks setting. I have not lost any data, because Terramaster is backed to another NAS and Google Drive.

It is recommended that you use various hard disk tools to test your hard disks first. If you can no longer read data, it is likely that both disks of RAID 1 have problems.
Luckily you have a backup.
You can rotate the button to "Single" to format the hard disk as Single.
In addition, for the sake of stability, if you are using Windows, it is recommended to format it in NTFS format, and if you are using Mac, it is recommended to format it in APFS format.

My RAID 1 disks on my D5-300C read as single disks when i install them on another bay of the D5-300C.
I don't know why your disks "where lost" as an array, this could be the reason that you weren't able to read them individually.
I am rebuilding my RAID 1 with two bigger disks (on bays 1 and 2), and using one of the pair of my previous RAID 1 on bay 3 as the backup source to copy the data to the new RAID array. Have you tried this?
