Moving drives to a different NAS

Post by jason_t »

Well, after 2 years and regular problems, it appears my F4-210 has given up the ghost and wont restart. My WD Network Drive and my Buffalo TerraStation which I have owned and used for over 10 years seemed to survive just fine, and they were on the same power strip.

Does anyone know if you can migrate your drives to a different model NAS (or different product entirely?)

At present, there is no other device model that can ensure that the hard disk can be directly inherited.
