If I move a large file from a NAS drive to a NAS drive via the TOS interface, it is fast.
If I move a large file from a NAS drive to a NAS drive via SMB (two mapped drives), it is fast (>100 MB/s).
If I move a large file from a NAS drive to a local SSD via SMB, it caps out at around 25 MB/s.
If I move a large file from a local SSD to a NAS drive via SMB, it caps out at around 18 MB/s.
All the above results are consistent across reboots.
Using F2-221 with TOS 5.1.37. Any ideas? Having around 20 MB/s R/W is very limiting.
Very slow sequential R/W speed
Re: Very slow sequential R/W speed
Thread closed, the issue was a failure of auxiliary hardware.
