Hello,
I have a F4-423 with 1x Seagate Archive 8To and 3x Seagate Barracuda 2To on TRAID
I have a lot of error on this Seageate 8To disc and I need to change it AND I have only 6To of storage for 14To of disque space...

My probleme is:
I have 4x WD Gold Datacenter 6To disc to spare.

I was thinking of changing the 2TB for the 6TB first, to have a more consistent storage pool and avoid losses due to the reduction in disk capacity from 8TB to 6TB.

It's is possible ?
I change all of 2To disc for 6To and after, i change 8To disc for 6To disc ?

Thanks

This is OK, if the data is not much, it is recommended to directly rebuild after backing up the data, so that the synchronization time is less.

Thank for the reply
Can you have an idea of the time this will take for sync TRAID after change 2To by 6To ?

I reply at myself :D

If you're wondering, change 2To disc by 6To disc taking 3h30 approximately.
You need to reboot your NAS after repair RAID and extend volume manually
