Which ECC Ram for T9-450

Even the T9-450 CPU Intel Atom C3558r supports ECC Ram it looks like not bootable with an 16GB ECC Ram module i had in spare from a synology. What do i need?

Hi, T9-450 does not use ECC memory. The type of memory used is determined by both the CPU and the motherboard. Please refer to:

Ah, thanks, this means i can use the same Terramaster RAM modules as for the x-423 series. In the description on the amazon page to this RAM is mentioned only listed models are compatible and the x-450 series is not in the list

can i combine the standard 8GB RAM modul with a 16GB modul?

The official compatibility link that @TMzethar linked (
https://www.terra-master.com/global/com ... ity/#tab-2) has the T series listed with those DDR4 modules as well.
With newer TOS 5.1 builds (
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3889), any compatible DDR4 SODIMMs can be used, with people being able to bump up to 32 GB
