TOS 5 - Should I run my USB Backup HDD on BTRFS?

Post by Toxster »

I finally managed to successfully shift my F5-221 to TOS 5.1 (had to delete storage pool, doing formatting and several re-installs because of strange storage issues).
I'm using a USB-connected 14 TB WD Elements HDD for my backups and I'm currently thinking about whether it would make sense to switch from NTFS to BTRFS on my USB-HDD. I think basic advantages would possibly be like protection of data corruption and also Snapshots could be used. Is this possible and supported by TOS 5?

Thank you! Maybe then use EXT4 instead of NTFS?
