Updated, now cannot log in, just get an occasional ""Loading..., please wait" message. Left it for 24 hours, has made no difference. Cannot connect with TNAS PC either.
What should I do?
Why has TNAS become so unreliable? Seriously contemplating buying another make of NAS

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
The original post in this thread has been updated to mention that if there's less than 200 MB free on the system partition, to not attempt this update.
From your post, your screenshot displays 400 MB free on the system partition, so as long as you have completed a precautionary full backup of your data & settings, you can proceed with updating.
Otherwise, follow the following thread @ viewtopic.php?f=76&t=4655 to rectify the 2 GB partition issue.

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
Hi,
I'm thinking of upgrading my F5-422 from 4.2.40 to TOS 5.1.34 this weekend
but i wish to check is there a list/thread of known working applications for TOS 5.1
as I've been reading through the website over the last few weeks
and it seems a lot of the basic apps I need working for my unit's work usage,
seem missing or are still being worked on
and i want to confirm its worth it

One year after release TOS5 still can't be considered production ready. Poor installation and setup experience, basic operating functionality and configuration is poor or unreliable, and performance and stability does not meet minimum standards. TM really needs to focus on software quality assurance if they want to be competitive in today's marketplace.
Setup:
TOS 5.1.37
T9-423(16GB)
1 x Intel 1Tb 670P Hyper-Cache
9 x 3TB HGST Ultrastar 7K4000
8 - members in TRaid array, 1 - Hot Spare
1 Storage pool with 2 Volumes
Backup
D5-300C
4x14TB ST14000NM0018 in TRaid array
1 Storage pool with 1 volume

Cheers for the input, it's a pity as I think the hardware is great,dhfh522 wrote: ↑18 May 2023, 19:22 One year after release TOS5 still can't be considered production ready. yet your comment is how I'm feeling as well,
after reading other comments in the other parts of the websites, sub forums in regard to the software / App quality
like still not having a basic text app still
Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
I have two bonded Ethernet ports (cat6 attached to a 1gbps switch ), yet under Network -> Interface and looking at the details regarding the bonded interfaces, it says Bandwidth = 1000mbps. It seems that the bonding is not functioning as expected. I have tried a few different modes provided when creating the aggregate bond and none seems to show 2000Mbps. Any suggestions on debugging or setting up correct bonds? I do have a smart switch and can create a true LAG, but the modes I tried did not seem to work when I LAGed the ports on the switch. Right now I'm using Dynamic Link (802.3) and still only 1Gbps being reported in the GUI.
