QT (Mac QuickTimer player) can't play the media files stored in the Terramaster NAS

Hi, I have a TerraMaster NAS model F4-423. I uploaded video files from my iPhone and GoPro to the NAS. However, when I clicked a file ( either in .MOV or.MP4) I got a message said "he file isn’t compatible with QuickTime Player." . If I copied the same file to my local drive, QT can play it without any issue. Why that is the case? Anything I can do to address the issue. Thanks.

Again, where did you click the video files? when you report an issue, please provide more specifics.
Did you connect to your TNAS via the SMB file service through "Connect to server" on your Mac? or .....?
