No network connection - how to fix?

Hi,

I have a F4-423 with a fixed IP and connected using a bond of LAN1 and LAN2 to my switch. The switch was also configured to accept an LACP connection. This all worked fine for 2 days.

After that time the NAS did not reply to a ping (arp did not resolve to a MAC address on the local subnet). The website/portal for that reason did not reply. It was dead from a network perspective.

Even a reboot did not fix it. Also removing 1 network cable did not help.

How do I fix this ?

Do you get link up status on the switch? I've found that fixing the link speed, rather than allowing auto negotiation sometimes helps.

This may be a system or network malfunction. Please check if the network light is on properly and if it can work properly after replacing the network cable.
Please use a TNAS PC or router to search for the device before accessing it to prevent the IP from being replaced.

Link is up, but on auto it will not negotiate 1Gb/sec. Both links come up as 100Mb/sec I can't see it HD or FD.

If forced to 1Gbit/sec both links stay down. On auto it used to work.... I did not check forced before.

Is there a way to access the console? Like using the HDMI port on TOS 5? Does that do anything? Can you disable the bond?

Did you install an extra memory? Remove it if you did, and try again.

No it's the base system. No extra or other memory. No SSD. It just has disks in there. And TOS installed.

Connected both LAN ports of the terramaster 1 by 1 to my laptop and configured my laptop in the same IP subnet.
Link was up, but no reply. TNAS PC app could not find the NAS.

My guess is

1) Bond cannot work on 1 link (software bug)
2) Network subsystem is faulty.

Anyway I need a way to fix this. So TerraMaster please reply.

What bond mode are you using?
Some routers have interfaces with different rates at the same time. Do the two interfaces you use both meet the standard 1Gbit/s rate standard?
On what interface did you get the speed information?
Where did you do the "force 1Gbit/s" operation?
What TOS version are you using?
