i have a F2-210 running 4.2.41 and can copy a file that is many gigs in size to and from the nas drive so it is NOT a design issue as mine is working perfectly, if it was a design flaw then mine wouldnt be working

(ignore the speed im on wifi)

Well I'm happy for you :)

Thing is, it doesn't work for me; I just did another hard-reset, re-installed the firmware, re-formatted the drive, re-attempted the copy and... same result. Crash.

I would love to know what's the difference... Would you mind to access your NAS with the terminal and copy and paste the output of the 'dmesg' command?

Thanks!
