What are we doing about Adobe Flash?

The development of TOS 5 over the past year has been ambitious and impressively speedy. But a huge, lingering question remains.

We need an official announcement from Terramaster about Adobe Flash.

Why are we still hearing about it in unhelpful Help dialogue like this? And why is an actual requirement for this deprecated and now definitely defunct technology still lurking in dark corners of the system (even in this forum)?

Adobe Flash was officially discontinued and marked as end-of-life by Adobe in December 2020. Since then, most major software vendors, including web browsers and operating systems, have been phasing out support for Flash due to security concerns and the availability of more modern and secure alternatives.

If you're encountering references to Adobe Flash in the Help dialogue or other parts of the system, it's possible that there may be outdated or legacy components within the software that still rely on Flash. In some cases, it can be challenging for software developers to completely remove all dependencies on deprecated technologies, especially in complex systems with extensive codebases.

To address this issue, it would be best to reach out to Terramaster directly to inquire about their plans regarding Adobe Flash support and any updates or improvements they have made in this regard. They should be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information on the topic.

I'm sorry that we forgot to update the relevant description before, we have arranged to modify it.
In fact, on TOS5, Adobe Flash is no longer used, but Html5 is used.
Thank you for your reminder.
