f2-221 running 5.0.176

Previously under 4.2.32 I would get emails in my gmail account for cpu 100% utilization etc. Since the 5.0.176 installation wiped out the previous config backup I don't know the settings to get the emails working again. I thought I had to enter the gmail smtp settings and my account credentials but that isn't working when I try to test send.

What are the proper settings or is this not working in 5.0.176?

I solved the issue of receiving email notifications from TOS. My TNAS servers are behind a hardware firewall on my network. Since normally I block all internet traffic in and out of the NAS servers, I couldn't receive the alarms or the verification codes for password resets.

The firewall needed a specific rule to allow traffic to go to smtp.terra-master.com

The login problem was further exacerbated by the expired security certificate which I was unaware of because I wasn't receiving the admin emails.
