Sort photos by date of taking.

The photos I have uploaded in my photo folder are indexed with the "upload date" and it would be better if they were displayed by date taken.
This is more organized in my opinion.
To be clear.
My photo are not uploaded by TNAS app. But by another app. PhotoSync. Via WebDav.

I agree.
How can I sort photo by the "Time created" field from EXIF?
The timeline of my photos is completely wrong, it is automatically sorted by the "Time Modified" field.

The currently uploaded photos are sorted by modification date. I have informed the product team of the request to sort by creation date, and it is expected that support for selecting the sorting method will be available in the future.

It's important to remember that linux, traditionally, did not "understand" creation date. Until relatively recently we had an issue with TOS 'rsync' not preserving the creation date on copies and so all copied files had the same 'modified' date (effectively being newly created) - which sort of messed with archival strategies. That was corrected so, hopefully, an appropriate sort method can be introduced quickly.

I have this issue as well. I am new to NAS and just got my first one - F4-424 Pro. I will mainly use this for family photos and videos and family PC/Mac backups.
In my opinion, what is requested here is the option to sort by date taken from the information from the EXIF data and not the creation date. The creation date is the time the file was created in the computer. I am posting here a capture of the difference.

In a future version, Terra Photos will introduce the feature to sort by creation time or modification time. Please stay tuned.

Was this update released? I just uploaded all my photos from Google photos and the dates showing are the date they were uploaded
