D5-330 does not show up after MacOS Update (13.1)
Posted: 14 Dec 2022, 05:09
Hello,
after updating to MacOS 13.1 (22C65) my TerraMaster D5-330 is not showing up in the finder or in the RAID Manager Pro. In the RAID Manager Pro I get the Message "The connection between APP and RAID HBA has been interruptted, APP will try to reconnect RAID HBA in 1 second(s)."
I tried to uninstall the RAID Controller Driver, but it did worked out:
sh-3.2# sudo rm –rf /Library/Extensions/HighPointRR.kext
rm: –rf: No such file or directory
rm: /Library/Extensions/HighPointRR.kext: is a directory
When I tried to install the RAID driver, it said the installation would be complete, but there was no System Extension Updated window in the end, where I could click the "Open Security Preferences".
When checking whether the driver is installed successfully, it does not find the driver.
leoncrusius@MacBook-Pro-von-Leon ~ % sudo su
Password:
sh-3.2# kextstat | grep high*
Executing: /usr/bin/kmutil showloaded
No variant specified, falling back to release
I tried installing the driver now multiple times and also restarted my computer a couple times.
System is a M1 Pro Macbook Pro (2021) with MacOS 13.1 (22C65).
Startup Security Utility:
- "Reduced Security" is ticked
- "Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers" is ticked
- "Allow remote management of kernel extensions and automatic software updates" is ticked
Thank you for your help.
