I have to change all permissions for all files i downloaded, it is the only way to plex detects the new file. I have to do chmod 777 file.mkv.

Is it any way to do not manually?

I have 2 folders. One for downloads and another films. Both have the media group user added.

You need to set the media user group read and write permissions of the folder.

both folders have these permission.

Uninstall the apps, then go to Control Panel - Shared Folders to edit the names of Plex and qBittorrent. Then reinstall the apps.

As you can see in the attachments, the problem is the folder has the correct permission but the files i download not.

Go to Control Panel - Shared Folders, select "Torrents", click "Edit", check "Permissions are inherited to all directories", and then "Apply".

The folder has permission, but new files not.
