Thank you @sianderson for your reply. I have been updating the Plex Media Server routinely while on TOS 4.29 with no problems. I use the .tpk file downloaded directly from the Plex website.
I am still interested to hear from any user who has updated his NAS from TOS 4.29 to 4.30 and uses PMS. Any problems or difficulties ??
Thanks . . .
TOS 4.2.40 is Released for Update
Re: TOS 4.2.40 is released for update
Came from 4.2.31-2203011629 on an F2-210 and it worked great. Plex still works fine and I'm finally able to browse the app store. Thanks for the update.

Re: TOS 4.2.40 is released for update
Came from 4.2.31 to 4.2.40-2203011629. Plex is running fine, but the app store still doesn't show the updates Plex is saying are available.

You can download the plex update from the plex interface then Manually install it through the TOS interface. Strangely enough, after that the App store will show the update as available even though it was just installed.

Re: TOS 4.2.40 is released for update
Have just updated to 4.2.40 and have no issues with Plex media server but mine was installed from Terramaster app download rather than App folder as i have never had Apps in my App folder after setting up F2-210 from new so i've just been downloading from Terramaster, maybe they are a different version or just not Buggy, maybe try it?

Yeah, I fell for that. Did exactly as you describe and went further to apply the 'update' so the app folder and my install would be in sync. The 'update' was a downgrade to the previous version.

Re: TOS 4.2.40 is released for update
Update fails manually.
Updating from 4.2.31-2203011629
Online updated failed, then the manual update failed.
It did however completely remove the Emby application. Thank for that....
