LOST SHARED FILES - NO RECYCLE BIN ON DESKTOP

I disconnected 2 mapped drives on the F-210 - when logging on via SMB hose shared files are no longer showing; after reading the forums I should be able to recover via a recycling bin however there isn't one displayed on the TNAS desktop and I have tried digging into the individual files with no success. I don't feel that that amount of data would go missing that quickly however after multiple searches I am reaching out to the community for any help.

If the recycle bin is enabled, you will see the recycle bin under the shared folder.
Go to Control Panel - Volume, check the used space of the volume, is it normal?
Go to Control Panel - Shared Folder, check whether the shared folder exists?

If you are lucky and none of the sectors were reused you may be able to get the file back with a tool that recovers deleted files.
