D5 300 deadly slow on M1 Mac studio

Hi Guys
Hope someone can help?
I have a new Mac Studio and I have connected my D5 300 to it (I run 5 single drives)
The drives are chugging away constantly while not accessing them - BUT they are soooooooo slow black magic speedtest hardly registers on any of them (15MB/s)??
