I've tried formatting the SSD to all the different file system types and the option is not coming up when editing the volume.

F5-221
4.2.39
5x 3TB WD Red: Raid 6
Samsung T7 1TB being used as the cache.

You need to go to the Control Panel - Storage Manager module to create and mount the SSD.
