But guys this doesn't work on TOS5, right?!

I recently upgraded to TOS5 last weekend and downloaded the Plex app using links on this forum. I was about to install the updated Plex server, but it appears a membership is required to download the app. Is requiring a membership to tmnascommunity new within the last few days?

Sorry, you just missed it. The last free update for the Plex Media Server for TOS 5.0 from TerraMaster was this weekend. They shut the TerraMaster Community App server down for maintenance today and when the server was brought back online, all App updates now require a subscription. You can't use the Plex Server updates provided by Plex because their updates will only work with TOS 4.0.

You don't need to subscribe to be able to access the free files.
Just that you have to make an account and login. Then you can click on the app name and you will have access to update files.

The membership is only required for update files.

For Plex updates i decide to offer them for free, hopping that Plex should release the update themself soon.

Sorry, OutKastM. I didn't know you could access the update file by clicking on the name. When I saw "Access Denied", I thought that meant a subscription is required.

I'm trying to update to 1.29.1.6260 version, but installation is stuck on 0%.
I see I missed 1.29.1.6241, may that thing cause this issue?

Try to reboot your NAS

Well, Plex client works normally, showing current version number (1.29.1.6260): I just refreshed the screen and TOS page works normally too.
