D2-310 not mounting NAS

My D2-310 has stopped mounting my two Western Digital 4TB NAS volumes on my Mac (OS 12.3). On startup both HDD lights go green and flicker, then stop - so presumably, no longer reading. It's in Single mode.
What are the most common faults preventing mounting of NAS volumes, please? And will a simple reset do the trick?
