HDD won't sleep

Hi TerraMaster,
I purchased two D5-300C boxes with single mode!
One box HDD can sleep after time inactivity, but the another can't!
On box has issue, i tried to eject in windows but green light still on although it ejected successfully!
Please support me!

1. please advise the serial number of your two D5-300C;
2. as for the HDD sleep, it may be related with computer OS, HDD and DAS; please do some test there and let us know the result;
A. please exchange the HDDs of your two D5-300C
B. please exchange the computer for the two D5-300C
3. please advise the installed HDD quantity for the two D5-300C

The ok box: 190901419
The box has issue: 180100760
The HDD i'm using is HDD Seagate 8TB, i have tried to swap HDD to the new box but HDD can sleep!
When the ok box plugged to my laptop, USB drive is TerraMaster but the issue box is Master DAS!
It only turn off light when i shutdown windows!
Even when connect to other pc, it still always green light!

On box has issue, when i eject all hdd and unplugged USB cable, fan still work, i think this box has problem with power

The box has issue: 180100760
This is the old version produced in 2018. This version does not has full sleeping function. When did you order it?

I bought this box 2 years ago, so can i fix it like update firmware or anything else?

Sorry to tell you, the old version cannot be updated just by firmware.
The design has been change a little bit.
