F5-221: Raid 5 Drive Capacity Not Right?

Hi,

I'm setting up my first NAS (F5-221). I've got five 4tb HDD (3 WD Red, 2 Seagate Ironwolf) and I'm setting up a Raid 5. I was expecting to see a capacity of 16TB.

The Volume is currently synchronizing (about 70% through) but the "free space" stat says 14.58TB. Is this normal or have I done something wrong? I'm hoping when it's done synchronising that it'll be closer to 16tb?

The drives appear to have all tested as "Good". The two Seagate drives have an IHM-Notification but that just seems to be telling me that it takes 12hrs before IHM takes effect.

Is everything sounding normal or have I made a mistake somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Hi!
The capacity shown is right, because the TNAS file systems adopt the binary definition of storage units while HDD manufacturers adopt the decimal definition.
