No option to choose RAID type during initialization

I bought a new F4-421 and have 4 8TB NAS drives. Looking to do RAID 5.
The first time I did initialization I did the automatic option and it choose RAID 6, which I don't want. Deleted the volume and tried advanced but got no option to choose. Did a factory reset from the GUI. Did advanced initialization again but still no option to choose. Once the RAID 6 completed there's no option to convert.
The manual shows a config screen you get during configuration where you can set the raid, but I have never seen that screen.
