HI All,

I currently have a F5-422 unit with 4 x 14TB drives setup as Raid 5 giving me approx 38TB of usable space.

I am trying to create a new iscsi volume so i can mount the space on my windows backup server.

Everytime i try and create a drive greater than 16TB i get an error

Warning: Division by zero in /usr/www/include/class/iscsiadm.class.php on line 762

and it seems to create a 0 byte lun which cant be connected to via windows,

if i create a LUN of 16000gb it seems to work fine,

How do a create a single Lun to connect to my server?

just updated to firmware 4.2.15-2107221409 which seems to be the latest version available via auto update.

any help would be great,

Peter

Hi! Is the file system of the volume Ext4? Under Ext4, only 16TB LUNs can be created. It is recommended to set the file system to Btrfs.

Hi Support,

Thanks for that, yes it was formatted ext4. I have recreated the Volume and was able to create a new LUN at the full 40TB size,

Now to check if its stable.

Thanks

Peter
