Is this being fixed? Wish I'd known about this before, just purchased the F4-210 and after transferring all my media from the Western Digital NAS I had it messed up nearly 1000 files in my Plex library. Doesn't seem like a clever idea to just randomly rename files on a device which can be used for backing up data.

Any files with apostrophes in the name when the folder is opened in the TOS file browser

<conspiracy theory>
TNAS hates punctuation!
Prolly the same reason why files that start with a '.' (dot) are ignored when backing up from another device
</conspiracy theory>

...oh just in case it's useful I'm on F4-220, TOS 4.2.28

I was able to fix the problem by logging into SSH and renaming the file back to include an apostrophe again (as PLEX was expecting that), however as discussed above - simply browsing the file using the TOS File Manage automatically renames it back again, so you have to avoid using file manager to look at the folder!

This is still occurring. An apostrophe in the file name also causes problems browsing the folder using the TNAS mobile app. What is the status of a fix for this issue?

This problem has been resolved in TOS 5, you can wait for the official version of TOS 5 to be released.
