Hello,

Odd behaviour--my F5-221 will not act on shutdown commands from either the web page or SSH. The command is accepted, and the web page states "The device has been shutdown", or in SSH it states "The system is going down for system halt NOW!", but the device does not actually shutdown. Only way to get it to shutdown is by using the physical power button on the device.

Any thoughts please?

OK, forget this question ...

After several further shutdowns by using the power button, and finally pulling the plug for 5 minutes or so after the last attempt, my NAS has now decided to shutdown from the web page--albeit it takes several minutes to do so.
