Troubleshooting
Applicable model: all TNAS models.
When backup via Veeam Agent Backup with TNAS, it gives the error as the following picture shows.
Solution:
1. Edit the system-auth file
vi /etc/pam.d/system-auth
2. Place the cursor on the first letter of line 22 and press "i" to enter the editing mode at the current position
3. Add the "#" symbol to comment out the pam_keyinit.so revoke option
4. Press "Esc" to exit the editing mode, enter ":wq" to save changes and exit
Then you can use the Veeam software to back up normally.

I had the same problem and have switched to Macrium Reflect. Thanks for the info I may try Veaam again!
