Feature Request: Show Signature and Hash for Automatic Updates

Along with showing hashes and signatures for manual updates on the forum, I think the WebUI should show the same thing for automatic updates from Terra-Master.

The update panel in TOS should show the hash and signatures of the auto-update packages.

The system will compare the downloaded update package by itself, so you don't need to worry about it.

We do need to worry about it.
Man-in-the-middle attacks are possible, and these units have already been targeted by malware.
It is a very small, but real, layer of extra confirmation/information for the end-user to make sure that the update that their system has grabbed matches what is posted on the Terra-Master website's download center.

Sorry to go off-topic...
TOS auto-update never worked on my TNAS. Has yours ever done an auto-update? ...
btw, keep your high quality posts coming - this forum is in desperate need of them...
Some forum users who were very keen to provide feedback to TM are now noticeably absent.
I'm not surprised given the very slow uptake by TM of those feedback

No, mine has never once done an auto-update. I've done manual updates each time.
Thank you! I am trying to really think about what would benefit myself and others when using these units, so I'm glad I'm making sense still. I think there is a ton of potential here with TOS/Terra-Master.
