UPS compatibility

The UPS compatibility page has a list of tested UPSs.
The last column shows the driver that the tested UPSs use.

Is it reasonable to think that any UPS that uses one of the drivers in that column, would work with a Terra Master NAS?

I bought a UPS (CyberPower BR1000ELCD) that is supported by usbhid-ups (confirmed with CyberPower support), but doesn't appear on your list.

Your ideas seem reasonable, but without a real testing, we can't list it.

I've connected it up and it works!
Can you add this model to the supported list?

Is there a way to have the NAS shut down instead of going into safe mode?

And another question.
The 'TNAS as a network UPS server' option.
Does this work for any devices on the network? Or only other TNAS devices on the network?

I have an OPNsense router I want to shut down as well, and possibly more devices in the future.

It only works for other TNAS devices in the same local LAN.

Thank you for your report. If your UPS can run two weeks without issue, turn back to us, we will list the model. Appreciate!

Great, thanks Roy!
Just to confirm, do you want to check it now and then to make sure it's still showing up, or just check it again in two weeks?
And do you want me to disconnect the power to test the NAS goes to safe mode?

I've left it connected this whole time, and just did another test.
I turn off power at the wall socket for the UPS.
TNAS goes into safe mode, I confirmed I can't load up the web UI.
Turn power on at the wall socket for the UPS.
TNAS boots up again.

Is there anything else you need?

It seems that it's working properly.
