D4-300 UASP Support on Linux question

Does the D4-300 support UAS (USB Attached SCSI) on Linux?

There are some chipsets that work with UAS on Linux, so if no one has checked if UAS works on Linux (checked that the kernel says UAS is on and not disabled due to bad chipset) - can anyone report on what chipset is used (like ASMedia ASM1153E or JMicron JMS567)?

Got my D4-300 a short while ago and it has worked great so far!

My model reports an ASM1074 SuperSpeed hub as its base and 4 Toshiba External Disks as items connected to it... a little odd as I don't have any Toshiba drives at all. This only seems to affect the USB layout as smartctl is able to properly read the drive - unlike some external drives where they hide all useful drive details from the user and hide away smart data...

Code: Select all

idVendor 0x0480 Toshiba America Inc
idProduct 0xa006 External Disk 1.5TB
bcdDevice 1.00
iManufacturer 2 TDAS
iProduct 3 TerraMaster
Hopefully I don't later run into issues that a person mentioned on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-revi ... B08CN4Z4PC) with luck I have a different version than him.

Currently only have 1 drive in, so maybe it only shows up then...
