Switch off

hi,
I have now the F2 210
With the button on theleft side I can switch it on.
But how to switch off?

Hi,it could not be turned off with the power button because of the old versioned kernel. You should update the TOS system to update your Kernel once more even if the current TOS is the latest one. So please download the installation package from this link
https://dl.terra-master.com/cn/TOS_A1.0 ... 111715.bz2 and manually upgrade your TOS system.

when you are saying "old version" or "new version", you better mention the exact version number, for example 4.1.10, so that no mix up could happen.

Hi,
this was my 2nd try
press on/off to switch on - does work
press on/off to switch off - does not work
press on/off 3-5 seconds to switch off - does not work
no docu how to switch off.
please help!

I have a new F2-210 running TOS v4.1.18 and my power button does not switch off, no matter how many seconds I hold.
I does switch on.
Any idea how to fix it?

Hi, as for 210 series TNAS, it happens because of the kernel. and the TOS should be updated to update the kernel. You should download the update package from the website and manually update your TOS even if it's TOS4.1.18 already.

I did that and my TNAS "died", does not boot anymore.
I sent you a private message but it's on "outbox", don't know if you got it or not...
Please help me to reset my TNAS so it boot again...
